A workshop of short, hands-on modules for platform owners, workspace admins, and enablement champions who configure how Ana behaves for different people. Three layers of context — organization, role, personal — composed at question time; you’ll build all three, prove they work with a same-question side-by-side, and learn to operate them like the governed configuration they are. Semi-technical: you’ll edit markdown files and review changes, but never write SQL or .tql. Total time: about 2 hours. This is the deep-dive companion to the Role-Based Access chapter of Build Your Ontology, End to End — the persona model lives there; this workshop is how you author, prove, provision, and operate it.

Who this is for

  • Platform owners who decide what Ana knows org-wide- Workspace admins who provision different behavior for different teams- Enablement champions onboarding populations with different needs (executives vs analysts vs operations)- Anyone in a regulated environment who needs access behavior to be auditable, not anecdotal

What you’ll be able to do

After moduleYou can…
0Place any “I want Ana to…” request in the right context layer
1Stand up the routing setup: seed ANA.md and verify Ana loads the per-user and per-persona conventions
2Build your own personal context and verify it persists across threads
3Propose org-level definitions, glossary entries, and documents through review
4Author complete role persona files from the four-section anatomy
5Prove persona behavior with the same-question test, and change it through governance
6Provision personas through identity (SSO/SCIM groups), fail-closed
7Operate the stack: versioning, persona reviews, and the failure modes to watch

How to use this workshop

  • Prerequisites: an org with an ontology/context library in place (the Build Your Ontology workshop if not) plus the context routing file (ANA.md) seeded per Module 1; admin access for Modules 4–6; and a test user account for Module 5’s side-by-side.- Work in order — each layer builds on the previous, and Module 5’s proof needs Module 4’s personas.- Swap [bracketed] placeholders for your own teams, metrics, and domains. The restricted-persona examples use a care-management flavor; the pattern is industry-agnostic.- Context mechanics follow the current documentation at docs.textql.com (Context Library and Ontology sections) — verify click-paths there as the surface evolves.
T-minus-1-day pre-flight: run the workshop’s key prompts end-to-end in the session workspace — confirm logins, connectors, and the features this workshop touches are enabled for every attendee; run Module 1’s two verification probes (“what conventions are loaded?” and the write-test) to confirm ANA.md is seeded and loading before anyone starts; have a fallback demo workspace ready in case a customer connector fails live. Pacing: when a long prompt is running (2–4 min), fire it first, then discuss the concept while Ana works — never watch a spinner in silence. If behind schedule, cut sections marked optional, never the checkpoints. Group sessions: attendees drive, you narrate; collect every miss or wrong answer in a shared doc — that list is the ontology backlog.

You run each prompt; she coaches. (Air-gapped / VPC tenants where Ana can’t reach the web: download ana-runner.md and paste its module list instead.)
